Winch Yacht Recruitment is currently looking for a Junior Deckhand to join this 70m+ MY around mid July time in Europe. Please read the following specs in full before you apply please.

Our clients are currently looking for a junior deckhand with a  minimum of 1 years yachting experience, and ideally with a Yachtmaster but this is not a deal breaker. This is a very fast paced vessel which is mixed with both private trips and charters to. So although you will not be expected to know everything at this stage in your career, you must be a fast learner and be able to handle the pressures that come with a full blown charter trip. Of course the current crew will help to settle you in, but you will not be wrapped up in cotton wool. Knowing the basics of mooring procedures is a must, and your product knowledge should be of a high level at this point. You will not be expected to be the greatest tender driver in the world right now, but you must be competent enough for the chief to trust you with assisted tender trips (doing the lines, helping guests on and off etc). This is a great opportunity for someone fairly still newish to the industry, with some extra tips up for grabs throughout the season to.
