Winch Yacht Recruitment are currently looking for an Experienced Deckhand with a minimum of 2 years yachting experience, ideally on the same vessel but this is not a must. You will be a self starter, and be confident in your own knowledge of procedures as well as mooring procedures both aft and forward. Following instructions from the your Bosun will be a huge part of this position, and he is willing to pass on his knowledge to you along the way as long as you show a keen interest to learn rather than to push back at his requests. This is a very busy vessel with plenty of owners use, so an up beat personality will be key to match the current deck crew onboard. We are not looking for a "rock star", as that term is only used by boats that are best to avoid or by agencies you should avoid. We are simply looking for a confident Deckhand who is serious about his career, and who one day hopes to progress through the ranks to the very top.
