3RD OFFICER - OOW 3000

This 100m+ MY is currently looking for a 3rd Officer with a minimum of 4 years yachting experience to join them around mid December in the Caribbean. The successful candidate will have a minimum of an OOW 3000 already in hand, and be available for the suggested date. You will be operating between both the bridge and the deck team as and when required, so if you are looking for a  position where you sit only on the bridge all day this is not for you. The captain is open to very strong bosuns crossing over, but ideally would prefer an already established 3rd officer with larger yacht experience in the same position. A strong leader is required for this position, as well as someone who is able to follow instructions without any debate. Part of this role will involve helping the Bosun at times to take the owners ashore, so solid tender driving skills in all types of tenders of all sizes is an absolute must. You must be confident with bridge watches, and have a calm but firm personality when it comes to mooring/docking procedures. The vessel plans to see out the festive season in the Caribbean, and any future plans after this will be discussed only with shortlisted candidates.
