Winch Yacht Recruitment is currently looking for a 2nd Officer with a minimum of 4 years yachting experience to join this 70m+ MY asap in Europe. The successful candidate will have an OOW as a minimum, and proven experience already as a 2nd Officer onboard vessels of a similar sized. You will be a very confident tender/limo driver, and understand that this position will require you to be out on deck a lot rather than just on the bridge. We are looking for a real leader, and someone who knows how to run a deck team in a fair but disciplined manner. The clients have specifically mentioned that they want someone who is a very keen runner, and not just say that they are to land the position. The crew onboard are extremely active in this respect, and so are the owner/guests. So this really is part of the job requirements.
