Salary: £45,000+ DOE

Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)

We are currently seeking an Assistant Chef for a private household in St John’s Wood. Day-to-day, you will work closely with the Head Chef to prepare high-quality lunches and dinners for the principal, with a particular focus on Asian style cuisine. The ideal candidate will therefore have strong experience in Asian cuisine, as well as a keen interest in nutrition and the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining flexibility. You will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation at all times, as well as assisting with menu planning and food ordering.

The position is Monday – Friday from 12pm-8pm, with occasional Saturdays from 10:30am-3:30pm. You will be working on a counter-schedule to the other Assistant Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a private household.
