WYR is currently looking for a 3rd Officer to join this 90m+ dual season Private/Charter yacht in the middle of November maybe sooner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy yacht with a plenty of use from the owner and his huge family. They are open to newly qualified OOW,s with a strong deck background already within the yachting world, who is keen to learn and gain time on the bridge. You will of course also be expected to contribute to the deck teams daily duties where required, so if you are hoping for a role that allows you to sit on the bridge all day doing paperwork this is not the job for you. The current crew onboard are a very active bunch, so we are looking for someone to fit in with this behaviour. The Caribbean so far is confirmed for the next few months, and any plan after that will be discussed only with the shortlisted or successful applicant. You will need to be a very strong tender driver, as you will also play your part with guest trips ashore. Please do not apply if you are looking for couples roles, as you will not be considered. We are looking for candidates who are fully focussed on their own career right now rather than someone else's as well. This vessel defiantly has the potential to be a long term career vessel for the right candidate who is willing to show loyalty and hard work. On this occasion cv,s that show hopping around will not be looked at, the clients have requested longevity of more than 2 years on at least one vessel of a similar size.
